Guided route Aigüestortes National Park – Intermediate level

Discover with us the only National Park of Catalonia. Will not leave you indifferent.

Intermediate level circular route. Leaving from our store in Vielha we will go up through Valarties to the Cabañas de Pruedo, already inside the Aigüestortes National Park, through Valarties. We will make the descent – after changing valleys – through the impressive Vall de Tredós to Salardú, returning along the Camí Reiau to Vielha. The 44km route. and 1200m. unevenness combines urban roads, highways and forest trails in different states. We leave from Vielha to the entrance to the Bahns de Arties path. We cross in front of the church of Santa María and begin to climb a magnificent paved forest track that goes along the bottom of the valley with views of the famous Montarto peak, among many others. Later, crossing the river, we turn off onto a forest track that goes up on the left towards the heart of the Aigüestortes National Park and the pruedo cabins. Later, after a false plateau, we will reach the highest point of the route (2,135 m.) and begin the dizzying descent through the Vall de Tredós to Salardú. The return, depending on the group’s desire, will be done either by road or by coach Camí Reiau. Before entering the Park, we will have the opportunity to discover the towns of Betren, Escunhau, Casarilh or Arties, all of them with water points. It is recommended to bring a windbreaker, a jacket, something to snack on and water in your backpack. We meet at the time agreed upon in the reservation at our Bicius Vielha store.

Guided e-bike route: Bassa d'Oles - Easy level

Guided e-bike route: Bassa d’Oles – Easy level

Enjoy our most accessible and spectacular route with the whole family

Spectacular guided route suitable for all ages and levels in which we will visit a magnificent natural lake in the Aran Valley. It is a 25 km route that combines a stretch of greenway along footbridges over the Garonne River with a very quiet, shaded paved track through the Baricauba forest. We will follow the route until we reach the beautiful Plan Batalhèr picnic area. It is a place with a curious attraction for the little ones in the house: the pacifier fir tree. Boys and girls can leave the pacifier hanging on the fir tree that is next to a small wooden house. They will surely be surprised, especially by the colors hanging from the fir tree and by the large wooden dummy, almost larger than the house. During the route, it is common to see various animals such as donkeys, goats, squirrels, cows, deer or horses, among others. We will continue our route for 5 km which will have a well-deserved reward: the Bassa d’Oles. La Bassa d’Oles is a natural lake located at the foot of the Montcorbison peak at 1600m altitude and is surrounded by the beautiful Baricauba forest of red pine. There we will enjoy spectacular views over the Bassa. It is recommended to bring windbreakers, something to snack on, and water in your backpack. We meet at the agreed time in the reservation at Bicius Val d’Aran (Vielha).

Discover with us one of the most emblematic places in the Val d’Aran

Enjoy the magnificent surroundings of Artiga de Lin with our qualified guides and explore one of the most spectacular areas of the Val d’Aran. Take a break at the Artiga de Lin shelter, where you can have a drink and enjoy the impressive views of the Aneto before beginning the return journey to Vielha. Artiga de Lin is one of the most beautiful areas of the Aran Valley, featuring stunning geological formations, steep hills, and meadows with thick vegetation, including beech and fir trees. This area of extensive grasslands separated by steep mountains is home to a hidden treasure: the underground river Uelhs deth Joeu (Jew’s Eyes in Aranese). Originating from the Aneto and Maladeta glaciers, this river disappears into a hole called Forau d’Aigualluts in the Benasque valley and reappears after almost 4 km underground with a spectacular waterfall on the northern slope of the Aran Valley, flowing into the Garonne River and ultimately the Atlantic. The route is of low difficulty, combining 90% paved track and 10% forest track. It is recommended to bring a windbreaker, jacket, snacks, and water.
