The village is located slightly above Arròs, in the same side of the moutain of Mariagata and next to the Saint Martin ravine. The visitor can contemplate a typical village with great panoramic views of the Baricauba forest, Montcorbisson and the peaks of Entecada. It belonged to the old municipality of Arròs and Vila, but in 1970 it joined the new one: Vielha-Mijaran.
