It’s the first village we find in the road when leaving Vielha towards France. It has a peculiar urban layout whose typical Aranese civil architecture adapts symbolically to the capricious forms of its small streets. Aubèrt is the starting point of a number of itineraries to beautiful spots of Aran, such as the Baricauba forest presided over by its church which is a representation of the typical Aranese Romanesque architecture.
