The ski resort, Baqueira-Beret, is the most prestigious in the country of Spain. The quality of its snow during the ski season thanks to its clijmate, its orientation to the north and the exceptional jobs of the maintenance and snow technicians of the resort ensure that Baquiera continues to enjoy this "ranking". The altitude of the resort (between 1500 and 2500 meters) and the particular layout of its landscape (orography) give to black rated runs of significant length. For example, the Luis Arias piste, Escornacrabes, Teso dera Reina and Argulls or Manaud.
The area known as Beret is ideal for beginners due to the lack of significant steepness in its runs, the number of green pistes and the reduced price pass for beginners. The areas of the resort are perfectly connected (Beret, Baqueira and Bonaigua) with eachother with a variety of chairlifts. These allow the snow lovers the option of riding from one point to the other of the resort without having to repeat a run all the while enjoying a singular landscape and the surrounding peaks from the Aigüestortes and Sant Lake Maurici National Park reaching 3000+ meters and the impressive Maladeta and Aneto range off in the distance. Simply remarkable.
