This week three mountaineers have given Valencia kick off the season at the Tour of Aneto, they are the first that will travel 115 km in 6 stages. This route gets the feat of Alfred Tonelle, French pirineista that turned the Aneto massif at 1,858, who during the three months he was in the Pyrenees achieved many milestones pursued for some time. Today when it is more than 150 years the Tour of Aneto is more topical than ever.
The Tour of Aneto is an interesting proposal from the company Camins that passes through 5 valleys: Aran, Luchon, Benasque, Barrabés Castanesa and crosses 5 historic hills, accumulating a drop of 11,332 meters. The route can be done in 6, 5 or 4 stages, depending on the difficulty mountaineers wish, you can start in Vielha and Benasque. From Vielha walkers reach the deth Uelhs Joèu in Lin Artiga which will begin circulating that will bring capital to the Aran route. The route can be self-guided, hikers take a map, a road book and will daily control by the organization. You can sleep in hotels without carrying any luggage.
The Aneto Tour season begins on July 1 and extends to October 18, has no technical difficulties.
