he Val d’Aran, through the organization of Val d’Aran by UTMB® and Foment Torisme Val d’Aran, participates this year in the Salon Ultra-Trail®, an event dedicated to open-field racing. This event starts today and runs until 30 August in Chamonix.
This event, in which some 30,000 visitors are expected, is part of the promotional actions of the Val d’Aran by UTMB®.
The village of wooden houses will be installed a few metres from the start of the UTMB® on the Place du Triangle de l’Amitié. Among the different races that make up UTMB®, there are 10,000 trail runners of more than 100 nationalities.
The Aran Valley will share a stand with the other two international “by UTMB®” racing destinations in China and Oman.
Val d’Aran by UTMB®
Val d’Aran by UTMB® is the new trail running event in the heart of the Pyrenees. The first edition, which will be held on 3, 4 and 5 July 2020, will be part of the international circuit of the Ultra Trail® World Tour.
The complete route and registration details will be announced during its official presentation during the Ultra-Trail® du Mont-Blanc week and in the Aran Valley on 4, 5 and 6 September in Vielha, Salardú and Les, respectively.
