Lums e +, de Madera, Papel o Tijera, opens today in the exhibition hall of the church of Sant Joan d’Arties, where it will remain until April 1

ill inaugurate at 19h this afternoon the exhibition Lums e +, from the creators of Madera, Papel o Tijera, Amaya Echazarra and Inma Llauradó.The exhibition, which gathers its creations made with lighting, can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Amaya Echazarra e Inma Llauradó are two local artists residing in Arties. They realize works of art with lighting and lamps for all types of spaces through their project Madera, Papel o Tijera. “Lums e +, are lamps made by us in an artisan way with recycled paper and wood collected here in the valley. We always illuminate with natural ecological light or LED“, says Amaya Echazarra.
Lums e +with the Taro of Arties
The exhibition is divided into two spaces. “On one side we have placed special pieces,” describes the artist, “and on the other, objects and lamps for decorative use in houses. In addition, we have destined a side to a monographic area on the Taro of Arties “. Each of the exhibits has its reference, for those who are interested in purchasing a piece.
Amaya and Inma are especially enthusiastic about this project. “We are very excited to bring the exhibition Lums e + to Arties. First of all for the space, since the church of Sant Joan is a very special place. And secondly for being in our town, with our people. “
Madera Papel o Tijera also has a permanent exhibition in the restaurant Biniarán of Arties where all the lamps of the restaurant have been created by these aranesas artists. In addition, they have realized exhibitions in other locations like Barcelona, Ibiza or San Sebastián. Its lamps, unique pieces of ecodesign, are distributed all over the world.
