Following the success of last year in his first season, the Tour del Aneto returns next summer, organized by the company Camins from 24th June to 16th October. The incorporation of new enclaves to start, the possibility of extending the route and its openness to foreign tour operators are some of the news of this hiking 6-stage circular path around the giant of the Pyrenees across 5 valleys.
The journey so far with exit only in Vielha, can also be started in Benasque, expanding the options for walkers. In addition, the Tour del Aneto has been integrated as hiking activity in a European project around the “Reino del Aneto” which includes Vielha, Benasque and Luchon to stimulate and promote cross-border activities in the area.
On the other hand, and making reality to the old aspiration to unite parks Aigüestortes and Posets-Maladeta in a walking itinerary, there is the possibility of extending the tour to 9 days, going from the village of Aneto to Boi passing through Port de Gelada, to continue later by Sant Maurici and Aigüestortes to finish again in the Val d’Aran.
Having contracted with several French and German tour operators specializing in hiking, this season the Tour of Aneto have its first foreign trekkers.
