The Val d’Aran stands out for having a great cultural heritage that has been keeping throughout the centuries, and which form an important part of the Aranese identity. Foment TORISME Val d’Aran wants to use the long weekend December to present visitors peoples and the wide variety of churches that are scattered throughout the territory and that make a great Romanesque and Gothic legacy.
On Saturday December 6th, you can visit the villages of Salardù and Unha, and the churches of Sant Andreu and Santa Eulalia respectively morning. Vielha and the church of Sant Miquèu can be visited during the afternoon on multiple shifts. On Sunday 7 morning will visit Vilac and the church of Sant Felix and Bossòst and the church was Purification of Mary. In the afternoon, Arties and the church of Santa Maria tour. And finally, on Monday 8th, the visit will be made by the people of Tredòs and the church of Santa Maria de Cap d’Aran. The price of the tour is 2 € and can buy tickets at the tourist offices of Vielha and Salardú and during the same visit.
During the bridge will also be open network of museums in the country. The Museu dera Val d’Aran Vielha, and ECOMUSEU Çò of Joanchiquet of Vilamòs will remain open to the public from 6 to 8 December, while the church Sant Joan d’Arties opens on 6 and 7 in the afternoon and close 8. Vielha daytime host a new edition of the fair Cheese “Sabor Vielha” from 6 to 8 December, tasting a wide variety of product and wine. In addition, 7 night will be a concert of gospel group Marlena Smalls & The Hallelujah Gospel Chorale.
During these days there will be the opportunity to visit the farm Les, where indigenous caviar is produced by the company Caviar Nacarii. And, for the more daring, adventure park in the trees Naturaran of them, will also open its doors to enjoy nature with fun challenges in the form of games for the whole family.
Also during the bridge will have the chance to taste the cuisine of the territory and discover the commercial fabric that more and more visitors enjoy during their stay in the Val d’Aran.
